According to the New York Post on January 30, 2023, earlier this month, a mysterious spiral light was detected in the night sky of Hawaii. This aroused the curiosity of the investigators.

The sight was first detected by an observatory on the Mauna Kea volcano on January 18, 2023, at first it looked like a bright star in motion, then it gradually changed shape.
Footage from the Subaru-Asahi Star Camera shows the light turning into a larger blob and then into a vortex with a spiral swirling around it.
However, this whirlwind in the night sky is not a UFO or a spaceship, but a masterpiece of billionaire Elon Musk.
The spiral light is believed to be related to the launch of Elon Musk’s Space X satellite.
According to The Paper, in April last year, a mysterious glowing spiral object also appeared in the sky of Hawaii. At the time, Space X also launched a rocket carrying a spy satellite. After the rocket is launched, the second stage rocket, which is a single-use component, is re-entered the Earth’s atmosphere.
To avoid the case of insufficient propulsion for environmental reasons, second-stage rockets will typically carry more fuel than is required by the mission. If the rocket enters the atmosphere with leftover propellant, it could explode. Therefore, after the second stage rocket is separated, the excess propellant will be dissipated first, and then enter the atmosphere to burn. During fuel discharge, this spiral is created.
